Shooting Star Blogs

When searching for a topic to blog about. Don’t forget the old shooting star blog. I am a big fan of shooting star blogs. They are really fun to do. What is a shooting star blog? Well, it’s a blog that you know will be hot and will eventually fade out.

Right now I am running an American Idol blog. It has gone crazy since the show started. It’s earning me some pretty decent money, quick. But the downside is, it will slow down when the show ends.

The thing I’m excited about, is American Idol has been signed for 4 more years. So if I keep at it, I’ll have 4 more years of quick earning months.

These type of blogs are much different than a long term topic. You quickly gather as much info as possible, get it out there, and keep going until it fades away.

A few things to keep in mind when doing one of these shooting star blogs is: Be ready. Make sure you have your domain name and your blog up and running at least six months before the event. There are other ways to do it, but I recommend good old fashioned time. This is not always an option tho.

The other thing to keep in mind is: You will be busy. All of my other sites have really suffered because I’m focusing everything on American Idol right now.

The last thing to remember is, enjoy the ride. It will be like a roller coaster, you’ll work your butt off, and you should earn some pretty good cash if you pick the right topic.
