The Google Supplemental Index is something that most site owners know absolutely nothing about. Let’s face it, I don’t know much about it either. I just know that having pages listed in the Supplemental Index is not a good thing.
Pages that are in the Google Supplemental Index are there because they are trusted less. Since these pages are crawled less frequently and have less resources diverted toward them, it makes sense that Google does not rank these pages as high as pages in the regular search index. read more »
I created a site with WordPress over a year ago. But lately that site has become dormant and I decided turning it into a community would be better. So what I did was, upgrade it to Drupal. There wasn’t too much content on the site, So I did everything manually. I cut and pasted everything.
Yeah, I know…there’s a way to convert WordPress blogs to Drupal. But being a Drupal newbie, I did it the only way I know how. I am happy the way everything turned out, it’s awesome. The site has personal blogs, message board, image gallery, and news feeds. read more »

I recently created a new Drupal site. I’ve been a WordPress guy for over three years now. But I’ve always heard how stable and customizable Drupal is. So I finally checked it out for myself. They were right, it’s awesome.
I’m still trying to figure everything out, but I’m already extatic with the site. I think I may be using Drupal rather than WordPress going forward. If you haven’t tried it, give Drupal a shot, it really rocks.
