Akismet - the End to Comment Spam

Akismet is a god send! My WordPress blogs were getting bombarded with comment spam…until I loaded Akismet.

Akismet is a comment spam filter that works wonderfully. It’s just a simple WordPress plugin that you install and it catches everything spam. Akismet will even learn as it goes!

You do need a WordPress API key, which was really easy to get. Once you install Akismet just cut and paste the API key into the plugin and your ready to stop spam.

Akismet is a free plugin for personal use. Akismet’s website says that if you are making more than $500 a month from your site, you’ll have to pay. But for my sites, Akismet is the bomb for stopping spam.

Try Akismet http://akismet.com/ to get rid of your comment spam, I guarantee you’ll be happy you did. Since I’ve installed it, I spend virtually zero percent of my time fighting comment spam. Thanks Askimet, you rule.
